Ok, I know I have been pretty much the “where did he go?” guy lately but I have still had this in the back of my mind. I am researching whether I can go or not. The airfare from the US is NOT cheap (almost $1500 USD!) and that’s with at least one stop (15 hours+ to get there). Plus hotel for the week, and food, and (some) fun, it will be $2500 USD in the end at least. I really want to go but need to think it through a little more. I’d love nothing more to see you guys and could sure use a small vacation of seeing Berlin and walking around with my G2….I’ll keep you posted on my thoughts over the next week as I plan to decide soon….
(I have taken the liberty to post this comment from Richard as a blog post. Meaning it goes straight to “the front page”).

You know….I could always sell some of my “extra” camera gear to finance the trip….(no G stuff of course!)

Yes, you could and what a great idea that was :-). Expect to see you in Berlin then for some street shooting. I don’t think you will regret it, Berlin is such a different city. Only a few years from WWII still.

Hi Richard - you’re welcome to stop in London first and stay with us in the centre of town - then we can all fly out together!
It might be cheaper for you to get a flight to London, and flights to Berlin are not expensive from here.
